ABOUT KIDACTIVE
Inspired by the
critical need to address immediate physical and mental health issues facing
Canada's young people, KidActive was founded to foster the development of
healthy kids, communities and outdoors. We are committed to the
development of life long health solutions that inspire and motivate children
and youth to reach their full potential and contribute positively to their
communities and natural environment.

Every child is active, healthy and connected to their natural environment.
MISSION
To open doors that foster every child's healthy development through outdoor active play, learning and living.
Through advocacy, multi sector partnerships, resource and program development we invest in healthy child development, contribute to healthy and strong communities where children and their families are active and engaged and support safe, accessible and sustainable natural spaces.

It is in every child's nature to choose
activity over inactivity and outdoor active play over indoor sedentary recreation.
Every child has the right to healthy physical, mental and emotional
development and a strong connection to their natural environment.
We are committed to these statements and support them by enhancing and
integrating active outdoor play, learning and living
the daily lives of children and their families. By establishing KidActive as a model of practice
across Canada, we contribute to healthier, greener and ultimately stronger
communities.
